Rethink35
We are more than 30 nonprofit and community organizations from across Texas working to put people first in transportation planning, and empower each other to successfully advocate for the diverse transportation needs of Texans.
A safe, healthy, and just Texas transportation system – local, regional, and statewide – that provides dignified, multimodal access for all people regardless of age, ability, or place.
We champion people’s access first by informing, reforming, and transforming TxDOT and other integrative transportation projects, processes, and policies through dynamic advocacy.
The Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) 2024 Unified Transportation Plan budgets a $100 billon investment in Texas in the next ten years. This enormous investment will essentially shape the future of our state, yet it is being made with little scrutiny by, or accountability to, Texans and our elected leaders.
We advocate for projects, policies, and processes to invest in a Texas transportation system beyond roads. We advocate for a sustainable and equitable transportation system that align with plans developed by the counties, cities, and communities that TxDOT connects.
Contact a group in your city today to learn their vision, share yours, and work together for a transportation system that works for Texans.
